what happened to our dark skin ancestors?

 i thought i should write something like this. on a shopping website, i saw photographs of some children that were said to be inuit as well. i researched a lot, and i know evolution happens but i'm half native american. i can't help but worry that the worse had to happen to them because i barely see anyone around me that looks just like these children nowadays. i see people that match the clothing description of them, but their appearance is ultimately different. it makes me feel distrusting of history and concerned for more people that have looked like me. i know that i may be taking a big risk writing something like this, but i truly feel like, i am super lost in the world, but i don't mind fighting for a comfortable space in it. the right way.
