i hate the y2k trend

you might misunderstand me when i write this. i don't hate things that were genuinely in during that time period. i hate the trend now. it's full of heartless people with 0 passion trying their best to recapture a beautiful time that they genuinely did not care for when it was happening.

it's just a bunch of bullshit. so i think, it's best if you just find what makes you feel comfortable and valid and go with that. if you use the hashtag, that's your business.

i'm also tired of new k-pop groups covering old songs. why are they doing that? they are so ignorant to the original legacy of the original songs and what they have achieved and it shows a HUGE insecurity in that k-pop group's team, about how they are probably under-confident of how they could achieve so they ride off the tail ends of the popularity and success of the beginning groups. it shows how k-pop is slowly becoming less passionate. i'm not a huge k-pop fan to begin with but i despise this practice.

that's it for now. goodbye
