I no longer "detest" Vocaloid

 

okay, to be completely honest about the title, i never hated vocaloid and i never ever will. it's just that i was avoiding it like the plague because i was frustrated with myself not being able to really be a vocaloid producer.. well, until now. i just need to get the right computer, and get some voicebanks. i feel confident in my ability to make MIDIs into singing. 

i just listened to sasakure.uk's pokemon song and i've never felt so delighted in my life. it reminds me that i want to experiment with more EDM. 

i never forget how much happy and full vocaloid things make me feel, despite what disgusting things the internet does to these characters. i feel like the creators and the pioneers of vocaloid's iconic culture throughout the 2000s shouldn't have paid attention to how the western side of things perceived vocaloid too much, because it molds their current vision for music nowadays. i understand that everyone wants to be a part of the latest and newest thing, but i can definitely sense a influence. 

anyway, i feel both determined and happy because i finally understand how to get a likable BPM. i just need to experiment! :>
